It’s been a long time coming (approximately 5 years), but I have finally pulled the trigger on implementing my very first Herbalism Newsletter. If you don’t recognize this platform, it is because they majority of you subscribed to join my yet-to-exist newsletter via my product based website, TheHempWitch.org. The rest of you likely filled out a form at one of my many markets in Montana throughout the years. Regardless of how you arrived here, I am so happy to finally have something to deliver! Now on to the updates, as promised.

As some of you may know, I shut down my manufacturing facility in the Summer of 2023 and hit the road to New Mexico, where I accepted a full-time position operating a private Animal Refuge in the desert. I worked up to 100 hours a week for nearly 5 months straight, putting The Hemp Witch on hold for what was supposed to be a pretty incredible new career opportunity helping rehome & rehabilitate animals.

What most of you don’t know, is the greed, corruption, and employee abuse that soon followed suite, ultimately leading to my very traumatic departure from this venture (as well as the rest of the employees). Due to ongoing investigations against this organization, I can’t go into too much detail.

I have spent the greater part of the past 6 months recovering from the incidents that occurred both during and following my employment with the organization. To say the experience took a toll on me mentally, emotionally, professionally, and physically (I’m talkin’ about you, nervous system!) would be...sufficient.

About three months ago, I made the difficult decision to part ways with New Mexico for good, and headed back to Bozeman, Montana, where the majority of my family lives. Bozeman is also the birth place of The Hemp Witch, spawned in the early months of 2019!

I am so happy to be home & have been working hard to launch some really exciting new products & services that I can’t wait to tell you about soon!

For those of you who are new here, (mostly from the recent Bozeman Ren Faire), Welcome! Thank You so much for your support! It’s safe to say I have never had more fun or better success at a 1 day event in 5+ years of vending across Western Montana. Have I finally found my niche!? What a sweet, sweet welcome home that was! Ahh, Community!

Bozeman’s First Annual Renaissance Faire was magical! Over 4,000 people moseyed through Bozeman’s Fairgrounds, many in full garb (including all the vendors!). The clock struck 10:00 am and the line which would last for the next 7 hours formed promptly. The clock struck 11:00 am and the turkey legs were already sold out (which was devastating for a starving vendor like myself LOL).

If you missed me at Bozeman’s Faire, you can still make the trip to Billings for the two-day All Hallows Medieval Fantasy Faire on October 5-6th that is sure to be a blast! Come find me in Black ‘n’ Chaste Alley at North Park. You can find more information and purchase tickets for the event on their website Allhallowsbillings.com. There will be plenty of food, entertainment, live music, and vendors galore.
